VYSHYVANKA - foto (interior artwork)
Oleksandr Trush · 2026
A symbolic composition featuring a traditional Ukrainian vyshyvanka filled with wheat and blue cornflowers. The image brings together elements deeply rooted in Ukrainian culture: the embroidered shirt as a symbol of identity, wheat as a representation of abundance and resilience, and cornflowers reflecting memory and homeland. Through the absence of a human figure, the work evokes themes of heritage, continuity, and the enduring connection between people and their roots.
